SPOKANE, Wash. — A body was recovered from the Spokane River Wednesday morning.
According to Spokane Fire Department, a body was discovered around 6:45 a.m. at Waterworks Street and Surro Avenue.
SFD pulled the body around 8 a.m.
The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office says it appears the body had been in the river for some time.
An investigation is underway to determine how the individual ended up in the river.
