SPOKANE, Wash. — Drivers on Interstate 90 and Highway 2 in Spokane and Airway Heights should plan for longer travel time next week.
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will have crews working on sign bridge inspections in the area starting at 4 a.m. Sunday.
Short-term, single lane closures will be happening in both directions of I-90 between Hamilton Street and the Highway 2 interchange. Most of these closure will happen in the right lane.
Similar lane closures can be expected in both directions of Highway 2 between the I-90 interchange and Fairchild Air Force Base.
Closures can be expected from 4 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, from 4 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday, from 4 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10 and from 4 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
WSDOT says to please remember to move over and slow down in the area.
