CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. — Investigators with the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to follow leads on the whereabouts of the Wenatchee man wanted for the murder and kidnapping of his three daughters.
32-year-old Travis Decker is still missing. The Sheriff’s Office asks anyone who owns remote cabins in Chelan, Kittitas, King, Snohomish and Okanogan Counties to lock all doors, including sheds and outbuildings, leave window blinds open and leave outside lights on.
Decker is accused of murdering his three daughters, nine-year-old Paityn, eight-year-old Evelyn and five-year-old Olivia, and leaving their bodies in the woods near Leavenworth.
The sisters were reported missing after never returning home from a scheduled visitation with Decker on Friday evening.
Decker is former military with extensive training and survival skills. He is capable of spending days or months in the wilderness with very little equipment.
Spokane County Sheriff’s Office helicopters are also helping with the search.
Decker is 5 feet 8 inches tall, 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has multiple recognizable tattoos on his arms and torso.
If you believe you have seen Decker, call the Chelan County tip line at 509-667-6845 or submit your tip online here.
A GoFundMe account to support the girls’ mother Whitney has raised more than $900,000 as of Thursday morning.
