KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — Voters appear to be pretty evenly split in their support for the Plummer-Worley Joint School District on Tuesday night.
As of 11 p.m. on May 20, roughly 50.6% of total voters in Kootenai and Benewah County are in favor of the district’s $1.8 million levy.
If passed, the levy would direct $1,787,720 toward the district each year, for two years.
The levy would fund school safety and security, maintenance, athletics, staffing and transportation.
It would cost taxpayers an estimated $43.82 per $100,000 of assessed property value.
The supplemental levy requires more than 50% to pass.
Votes will continue to be counted over the next few days and will officially be certified on May 30.
