DOUGLAS COUNTY, Wash. — Four people were injured in a crash on Highway 97 in Douglas County on Saturday afternoon, according to Washington State Patrol.
Around 3 p.m. on May 17, Washington State Patrol responded to a reported car crash on Highway 97, about 5 miles south of Chelan Falls.
According to WSP, a car traveling south on Highway 97 attempted to make a turn onto Park Place and failed to yield to a car driving north on 97.
The northbound car then crashed into the front right side of the car attempting to turn.
WSP said the four people inside the northbound car, including a 6 and 11-year-old, were injured and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
No details about the nature of their injuries were provided.
All people in both cars were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. WSP said no drugs or alcohol were involved.
