SPOKANE, Wash. — Kids and adults alike are invited to participate in the Spokane Public Library’s free Summer Reading Club.
The Summer Learning Program kicks off on June 1 and runs until August 31.
On top of fantastic prizes for reading, there will be dozens of fun events for the whole family.
Some of the events you can look forward to include escape rooms, Storytimes, coding camps and more. A list of events, including hours and locations, can be found here.
If kids read 15 days each month this summer, they can earn fun prizes. Prizes include free books, free USL soccer tickets or a free ice cream treat!
Prizes aren’t just for the kids, though! If an adult reads 15 days each month, you can get a free book from Page 42 Bookstore. You will also earn entries to win prizes like Spokane Symphony tickets, gift cards, a three-month membership to the YMCA and more.
You can register yourself and your family for this free reading challenge here.
