SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane County Medical Examiner identified and ruled the manner of death for the pedestrian killed in a crash on Sunset Boulevard.
According to the ME, 78-year-old Mary Shockley was walking on Sunset Boulevard near Lewis Street on Thursday, April 24.
She was hit by a vehicle and died at the scene.
Law enforcement questioned the driver at the scene, but they were ultimately released.
The medical examiner says Shockley died of blunt force injuries and the manner of her death was accidental.
