SPOKANE, Wash. — Police arrested a man for a deadly shooting near the Amazon Fulfillment Center on the West Plains, according to Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
On April 21 around 2 p.m., SCSO deputies responded to a reported shooting near Geiger Boulevard and Hayford Road, just west of the Amazon Fulfillment Center.
When they arrived, they found 24-year-old Hasani Vita lying on the roadway without a pulse. He died at the scene from gunshot wounds.

No suspect was taken into custody the day of the shooting and detectives conducted an investigation into possible suspects and what led up to the incident.
According to SCSO, around 6 p.m. on April 29, law enforcement identified and arrested 21-year-old William K. Baldwin in North Spokane for the shooting.
SCSO said their investigation indicates Baldwin and Vita knew each other and a disagreement led to the shooting.
Baldwin was arrested for second-degree murder and booked into Spokane County Jail on a $1 million bond.
