Traffic on westbound I-90 is at at standstill on Wednesday night, according to WSDOT East.
Around 6 p.m. on April 16, National Weather Service Spokane issued a Blowing Dust Advisory between Moses Lake and Ritzville.
The blowing dust caused traffic to slow and stop on I-90 between the two cities.
The advisory is expected to last at least until 7:30 p.m.
NWS said visibility is less than 1 mile in some areas and wind gusts in excess of 40 mph.
Drivers in the area should expect significant delays and use extreme caution.
