MOSES LAKE, Wash. — Authorities have arrested another suspect in connection with the March 21 homicide of a 14-year-old boy on Loop Drive in Moses Lake.
According to Moses Lake Police Department (MLPD), 18-year-old Mathew Valdez was taken into custody early Friday morning in Beaverton, Oregon.

The arrest was made with the assistance of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Marshals.
Detectives have identified three suspects in the incident, which left two 17-year-olds, a 12-year-old, and a 26-year-old wounded.
According to MLPD, 20-year-old Jose Beltran-Rodriguez is still at large.
Beltran-Rodriguez and Valdez are wanted for first-degree murder, five counts of first-degree assault, drive-by shooting, and being felons in possession of firearms.
The four surviving victims, including the 26-year-old driver, Crystal Santoyo who is engaged to a Moses Lake Police Detective, were treated for gunshot wounds and have been released from the hospital.

Santoyo is engaged to a Moses Lake Police detective, Juan Serrato.
Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the U.S. Marshals and the ATF, continue to search for Beltran-Rodriguez and Valdez.
