SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga sophomore Dusty Stromer has entered the transfer portal after two seasons with the Bulldogs.
The Zags’ season came to an end Saturday, with a loss in the Round of 32 against No. 1 Houston. Stromer only played three minutes in his final game with the team.
During his freshman season, Stromer played in all 35 games, averaging 4.8 points per game. In his 2024-25 campaign, the guard played in all but one game, averaging 4.3 points.
Stromer is the first player on this Bulldog roster that has entered the transfer portal as it has officially opened, Monday. Graham Ike and Braden Huff are big names that maintain eligibility and would be great for the Zags to keep in the building.
Michael Ajayi has one year of eligibility left (although honored on senior night) and has not specified whether or not he plans to utilize the extra year (following a ruling with the NCAA/Junior College eligibility).
It’s the end of the road for Ryan Nembhard, Nolan Hickman, Ben Gregg and Khalif Battle as they played their final game wearing a Gonzaga logo, Saturday.
The final score against Houston was 81-76.
