STEVENS PASS, Wash. – Avalanche control will take place on Highway 2 at Stevens Pass early Saturday morning, March 22, 2025, beginning at 4 a.m.
According to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), eastbound traffic will be halted at milepost 58, near Scenic, while westbound traffic will be stopped at milepost 64.
WSDOT said the closures are part of routine avalanche control measures to ensure the safety of travelers in the area.
Drivers are urged to plan ahead and expect significant delays.
