SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — A fire broke out at a duplex in Spokane Valley on Wednesday night.
Around 8 p.m. on March 19, Spokane Valley Fire Department responded to a fire at a home near Mission Avenue and Bowdish Road.
According to first responders at the scene, two families were living in the duplex. Firefighters rescued one cat and no injuries were reported.
The Red Cross is helping both families as they are unable to return to their homes tonight due to the damage.
No information about what caused the fire has been released.
