LAS VEGAS, NV. – Washington State men’s basketball defeated LMU, 94-77, in their third round game and will now face the San Francisco Dons in a WCC quarterfinal matchup.
The No. 6 Cougars and the No. 4 Dons split the regular season meetings: one win a piece. This time around – USF is without their star player, Marcus Williams, due to an NCAA rule violation that is preventing him from playing in the tournament.

If WSU pulls out a win against the Dons, they will face Gonzaga in the semifinal round. It would be the third meeting between the programs this season. Gonzaga has yet to play a game in the conference tournament since they earned a two seed and a quadruple bye.
