A teacher from eastern Washington is representing her high school in D.C. on Tuesday night.
Stacey Nash, a teacher at Wilbur Creston High School in Wilbur, Washington, is the special guest of Representative Michael Baumgartner for the 2025 State of the Union.
“Thank you Speaker Johnson for being so gracious with our special teacher from E. WA – Ms. Stacey Nash of Wilbur Creston High School and so great to get a photo from the ‘Speaker’s Balcony’ overlooking the mall,” Baumgartner posted on X.
Representative Baumgartner posted on X in February requesting nominations for “outstanding teachers in Eastern Washington” for a chance to be his guest at the State of the Union.
Nash was nominated by her students.
