WHITMAN COUNTY, Wash. — If you’re driving through Colton on Saturday, you may need to take an alternate route due to the upcoming half-marathon.
On March 1 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wawawai Road will be closed in both directions from Wawawai Park to Blyton Landing for the Palouse Road Runners annual road race, the Snake River Canyon Half-Marathon.
Hundreds of runners are expected to participate.
The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office will reroute traffic during the race.
