KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — A man was arrested after robbing a convenience store in Hayden on Saturday, according to Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 6:30 p.m. on January 25, deputies responded to the Quick Stop near Hayden Avenue and Ramsey Road for a reported robbery.
The Quick Stop employee told deputies a man wearing a mask came into the store with a gun and demanded money from the cash register.
After he was given the cash, the man ran out of the store.
Deputies used video footage from the Quick Stop to identify the suspect as 39-year-old Vance Groene.
Groene was arrested at a home in Hayden and booked into the Kootenai County Public Safety Building for robbery.
