PULLMAN, Wash. — A 20-year-old male was stabbed at Orton Hall on the Washington State University (WSU) campus early Monday morning.
WSU Police responded to the incident at 1:18 a.m. and found the victim with a knife wound to his left arm.
According to WSU Police, the suspect was identified as Tatiana Martinez, a 20-year-old WSU student and Orton Hall resident, had stabbed the victim.
Martinez was arrested at the scene and booked into Whitman County Jail on charges of second-degree assault.
The weapon was recovered at the scene.
Pullman Police officers assisted WSU Police during the response.
The victim, a resident of Shoreline, Wash., was transported to Pullman Regional Hospital, where he refused treatment and was later released.
