CHATTAROY, Wash. — The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man suspected of shooting a woman during an argument at a bar.
According to deputies, law enforcement responded to the Whiskey Glasses Bar and Grill in Chattaroy around 1 a.m. Sunday morning for a shooting.
Deputies say a woman was shot in the leg and provided her with first aid.
Through the investigation, SCSO says 32-year-old Skylar Jones had been in the bar arguing with others. Eventually the argument moved to the parking lot when Jones pulled a gun and asked, “Do you wanna [sic] get shot?”
Deputies say as Jones pulled the gun, he fired a shot and the woman was struck.
Jones left before law enforcement arrived but was located around 5 a.m. by Spokane Tribal Police near Fruitland.
SCSO says Jones will be extradited to Spokane where he will face multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.
