IDAHO — A second plow strike in North Idaho occurred Friday afternoon on Highway 5, according to the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD).
IDT said the accident was about three miles west of St. Maries, marking the fourth such incident in the state this winter.
Plow strikes, which happen when snowplows are hit by other vehicles, pose a serious safety risk for both drivers and workers clearing roads.
