EPHRATA, Wash. — The Grant County Sheriff’s Office arrested three teen boys with guns, drugs, and a stolen vehicle in Ephrata.
According to deputies, law enforcement was alerted to a stolen Ford Fusion out of Mattawa around 6:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
Around 8:30, an Ephrata police officer tried to pull over the car near Dodson Road Northwest and SR 282, but the car took off.
Deputies had to cancel the pursuit due to fog but placed spike strips further down the road which popped the driver’s side tires.
GCSO says the Fusion was found crashed and the boys were found hiding in an irrigation canal nearby.
Deputies arrested two 14-year-olds and a 16-year-old. Deputies say they had a revolver, a stolen rifle, and a small amount of drugs on them.
The three were booked into the Chelan County Juvenile Center for possession of a stolen vehicle, eluding, and firearm charges.
