This past weekend, we had the most magical family outing to the Santa Train at the Inland Northwest Rail Museum. It was such a special experience that we’re still talking about it days later!
The fun began as soon as we arrived. The museum itself was full of fascinating exhibits and beautifully restored train cars, which captivated both the kids and us grown-ups. But the highlight, of course, was the festive atmosphere! Holiday decorations, the scent of hot chocolate in the air, and the promise of seeing Santa had everyone in high spirits.
The kids were thrilled when we spotted Santa in the museum. He took time with each child, and their excitement was contagious! They clutched their candy canes with big grins and couldn’t stop chattering about their moment with him.
Then came the part we’d all been eagerly anticipating. The conductor’s call of “All Aboard!” echoed through the station, and we hopped onto a historic train car with Santa himself! Riding along the tracks, sipping hot cocoa, and soaking in the holiday cheer made for a truly magical experience.
If you’re looking for something unique and memorable this holiday season, the Santa Train at the Inland Northwest Rail Museum is a must-do! They’re offering rides again this Saturday with multiple departure times. For more details and to book tickets, visit their website at inlandnwrailmuseum.com
It’s the perfect way to create lasting memories with your family. We’re already talking about making it an annual tradition!
