OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. — Some people in Winthrop, Washington are without running water on Sunday afternoon.
According to Okanogan County Emergency Management, the town of Winthrop is experiencing an issue with its water system.
OCEM said the issue is only affecting some residents.
As of 12:30 p.m. on November 24, the Public Works Department is investigating the cause.
The Town of Winthrop is asking residents and businesses to limit their water use until the problem is resolved.
The issue comes a few days after maintenance on the Winthrop water pump.
On November 20, OCEM announced the town’s water pump was down and needed to be replaced. On November 21, they said a temporary pump had been installed and water use could resume as normal.
