GEORGE, Wash. — A driver was killed in a head-on crash with a semi-truck near George early this morning.
Washington State Patrol says a person was heading south on SR-281 near I-90 just before 2 a.m.
Troopers say the driver crossed the center median and collided with a northbound semi-truck.
WSP says the southbound driver died at the scene and the semi-truck driver was unharmed.
The identity of the driver will be released after family members are notified
WSP says it’s unknown if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
