GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — Crews have recovered the body of man who went missing while fishing in Grant County last week.
According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, the body of 54-year-old Richard Smith of Moses Lake was recovered from the O’Sullivan Reservoir Sunday afternoon.
Smith was reported missing last Sunday, October 6. He went out fishing October 3 and did not return.

The sheriff’s office said Smith’s body resurfaced about 100 yards from where his tackle box and other gear were found last week.
The Grant County Coroner will determine Smith’s cause of death.
