BOUNDARY COUNTY, Idaho — Power outages in Boundary County are impacting a lot of the county services Thursday.
According to the Boundary County Emergency Management, all administrative services are offline today and the courthouse is closed because of the power outages.
Many gas stations are also without power and cannot provide services. Emergency Management said the nearest gas station with power is in Samuels.
Emergency services like fire, police and medical are still working and the driver license office will stay open.
Emergency Management said power lines are down across the county. Northern Lights Electric and the City of Bonners Ferry have been working to make repairs but both systems rely on the Bonneville Power Administration regional transmission circuit, which was also damaged.
People who have oxygen devices and need help with their oxygen supply can call Sheriff’s Dispatch at 208-267-3151 extension 0 to get help.
