BOISE, Idaho — The first hearing in Boise for the man accused of killing four University of Idaho students has been scheduled.

Bryan Kohberger is set to appear Thursday, September 26 for a status hearing now that the trial will take place in Ada County. In addition, a new judge, Steven Hippler will oversee the rest of the proceedings.
The trial was moved from Latah County after a motion was approved by the Idaho Supreme Court.
Kohberger is accused of killing Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves in 2022.
