SPOKANE, Wash. — The Washington State Department of Transportation invites you to the first in a series of conversations about the final North Spokane Corridor connection project and proposed pedestrian bridges across Interstate 90.
The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16 at the Liberty Park Library. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the presentation begins at 5:45 p.m. WSDOT said there will be an opportunity for the community to ask questions and provide feedback on the project.
WSDOT said there are currently two pedestrian bridges that cross I-90 between Hamilton Street and Sprague Avenue. A third was removed in 2023 due to safety concerns.
Additional meetings for this project are planned for the third Wednesday of every month through May.
The project is expected to begin in late 2025 or Spring of 2026. It is expected to finish in 2030.
