CLEARWATER, Idaho — Two people who died in a gas station fire in Cardiff were identified on Tuesday, according to Clearwater County.
The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office identified the two victims as 53-year-old Brandon L. Cook of Orofino and 62-year-old Wesley J. Lineberry of Pierce.
CCSO said the victims’ families had been contacted.
The fire broke out after an explosion at the gas station located at 36753 Highway 11 on September 11 around 3 p.m.
The cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
