SPOKANE, Wash. — The City of Spokane is asking for community input on ways to spend $22 million in federal funding over the next five years.
The City of Spokane receives funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) program, and the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) program.
These funds help increase and preserve affordable rental and homeowner housing, improve public facilities, and support public and community services, such as food banks and health care.
These funds benefit low- and moderate-income households in Spokane.
An individual is considered low- to moderate-income if they earn less than $54,800 per year, and a family of four is considered low- to moderate-income if their household earns less than $78,300 per year.
Your participation in this survey will help capture the needs of our community and how to prioritize funding.
