SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – If you often use eastbound Interstate 90 in Spokane Valley, you might want to factor in extra travel time Tuesday night.
The Washington State Department of Transportation said starting at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, crews will close the two left lanes of eastbound I-90 between the Sullivan and Barker Road interchanges.
The partial closure will last until 6 a.m. Wednesday.
During the closure, drivers will have to merge into the far-right lane, exit the highway and detour through the roundabout at Barker Road before using the on-ramp to get back on eastbound I-90.
WSDOT said the closure is so crews can repave the road near the Barker Road overpass.
Flaggers will be at the roundabout to help with traffic for those using Barker Road.
