GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — A man was killed in a hit-and-run in rural Moses Lake on Sunday morning, according to Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 6 a.m. on August 4, 9-1-1 received a call about a body near Road M-Southeast between Road 3 and Road 4-Southeast in Moses Lake.
When GCSO arrived at the scene, they determined the pedestrian had been on the southbound side of the road when he was hit and killed by a car travelling south on Road M-Southeast toward SR-262.
The Grant County Coroner’s Office identified the man as 19-year-old Adrian Baeza Escobedo of Moses Lake.
As of Sunday evening, GCSO said they are still searching for a suspect car with right-end front damage.
