SPOKANE, Wash. — Crews repaired a sewer main break in north Spokane after it caused waste water to stream down the road for two days.
On Tuesday, a sewer main break in the Country Homes area flooded some homes’ basements and caused water contaminated with human waste to fill the streets.
Crews found a three-foot crack near the bottom of the pipe.
By Thursday morning, crews had repaired the break, but the cleanup was still underway.
Wall Street at Barnes Road will remain closed for the cleanup until Saturday.
