OMAK, Wash. — Firefighters have nearly reached full containment on a wildfire that destroyed several homes near the Omak Airport.
The Greenacres Fire burned about 900 acre, or 1.5 square miles, and is now 95% contained.
Department of Natural Resources issues its final update on the fire Thursday morning saying all evacuation orders were lifted.
Firefighters say seven homes were destroyed and 13 structures damaged.
Anyone who lost or suffered damage to a home or structure is asked to call Okanogan County Emergency Management for assistance at 509-422-7348.
