Switchfoot played 92.9 ZZU's Studio Z on a beautiful day in May of 2006. We learned all kinds of things about the band when they played for us. We learned that Jon, lead singer of the band was also known as "Johnny Quest" at the restaurant he worked at in San Diego during his High School years. We found out because one of our lucky 92.9 ZZU listeners that was in the audience with us.. actually worked with Jon!
We also found out the guys are a lot of fun. Jon not only sang for us well, but he kept us laughing a lot! A very funny guy. Chad, the drummer, was making great drum noises on something that didn't even look like a drum!
