1. Before I met my wife, I never had a girlfriend for more than a year.

2. I really really really don't like onions. Really.

3. My sister-in-law's 1st cousin is Joe King from The Fray.

4. I was a Boy Scout for 11 years.

5. I almost lost 3 fingers to a chain saw in 1988.

6. Even though I enjoy Star Trek and Star Wars, I don't really like Science Fiction.

7. When I was in high school, I dropped out of computer class and joined radio class. Instead of becoming a computer geek making computer geek money, I became a radio geek making radio geek money.

8. I've lost nearly 40 pounds switching to Diet Coke and drinking 1-2 gallons of water a day.

9. 2008 was a year of firsts...my first dog, the first time I put Christmas lights on my house, my first (and second) kidney stone, my first full year in my 40's, and my first family funeral.

10. I love traveling by plane and sitting by the window, yet I'm pretty sure I'm afraid of heights.

11. I love the smell of coffee...but never drink it.

12. My son's middle name was my father's first name. My middle name was my grandfather's first name. My father's middle name was his grandfather's first name.

17. Yes, I'm a crier. My wife mocks me...she's not a crier. When I cried at our wedding, my uncle (while he was performing the ceremony) handed me a handkerchief and said “Get it together, kid!”.

18. My uncle was a priest for 50 years. He was the happiest person I ever knew, and put the “loud” in the phrase “laugh out loud”.

19. I'm youngest of 4 kids and the only boy. I'm also the youngest of 25 first cousins. My oldest cousin is 59 and the only one in my family that also lives in Spokane.

20. I learned about sports through my mom...I learned about sports betting through my dad, who never really like sports.

21. The doctor who delivered my youngest son got stuck in traffic on his way to the hospital...on a Sunday afternoon in Spokane! The doctor who delivered my daughter left while my wife was in labor to go feed her horses.

22. My parents were married in July of 1962, and my oldest sister was born in January of 1963. I didn't do the math until I was 25...my other 2 sisters figured it out before they were teenagers.

23. I hope I'm still alive when the Seattle Mariners win the World Series.

24. Christmas really is the most wonderful time of the year.

25. I would do anything for my wife and 4 kids.
